ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager that specializes in SMM for e-commerce brands. You’ll need to have exceptional design and creative skills with a proven track record of amplifying the social media presence, following, and engagement for an e-commerce brand. You’ll be creating content, executing campaigns, managing the community, researching trends, and regularly reporting results back to the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute social media campaigns and schedules from scratch, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms
- Brainstorm and create/design outstanding content (images, videos/reels, written) for posting
- Create and implement a content calendar including giveaways, campaigns, collaborations, etc.
- Continuously track and measure key social media KPIs (impressions, follower growth, engagement, CTR, etc.), while providing regular reports to the team
- Optimize social media campaigns campaigns using A/B testing and analytics insights
- Provide outstanding community management by engaging with and responding to social media comments/questions in the brand’s voice and in a timely manner
- Stay updated with social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve social media presence
- Monitor and analyze competitor activity on social media
- Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3+ years as a Social Media Manager for a DTC/Shopify/e-commerce brand
- Exceptional familiarity and knowledge with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights
- Deep experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, content management systems (CMS), and social media management tools
- Professional fluency in English with top-tier written, reading, and speaking skills
- Ability to work in any US time zone, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
- Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift
- Experience with influencer and affiliate management is a plus
- Nice-to-have: experience with Gmail and Slack
