About the Role

We’re looking for a Google Ads Manager to join an exciting venture-backed, US-based B2C consumer tech startup (similar to Airbnb). You’ll be responsible for the execution and management of a seven-figure Google Ads budget. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Google Ads, including targeting, bidding, and optimization. They will also be proficient in Google Sheets and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns
  • Develop and execute Google Ads strategies
  • Create and manage target audiences
  • Set and manage bids
  • Track and analyze campaign performance
  • Report on campaign results
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Google Ads features and best practices
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Regularly analyze and monitor campaign performance (CAC, LTV, ROI, CPM, CPC, etc.) to optimize, refine, and iterate on campaign strategies
  • Regularly report to leadership on campaign performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in Google Ads media buying
  • Direct ownership of over $100,000 in ad spend
  • Mastery of Google Sheets and reporting (including pivot tables and vlookup functions)
  • Deep experience with local and geotargeted ads (a plus)
  • A/B testing and experimentation expertise (a plus)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Access to a laptop/desktop with reliable and fast Internet connection
  • Ability to work in US Pacific Time, 40 hours per week (with some potential flexibility)
